I quit my job
Wooooooooooooooooooo! Except that appearantly the vacation we have is "prorated" and we have to "earn" said vacation throughout the year, so I ended up PAYING DSA TO LEAVE. Over $500. Well you know what? It's worth it to have nothing to do with them ever again.
It was making me unhappy and spilling into my social life (the unhappiness). I have a few fallbacks: marketing aka door -to-door salesman...ugh...yeah, no thanks, working as a computer installer, being a substitute teacher (again) and working at a temp at Ians place...which might be the easiest option.
I also have some in savings to get me through the next month if I can't find a job ::stares at bank account, waiting for the state tax return to go through::
So I have several plans which is more than most can say. I am luck and blessed to have Ian to help me get through this tough time, and the support of my friends and family.
