Beauty and behavior
I've been noticing lately that a lot of beautiful model-eque types act like they're half as intelligent and/or half as responible as they should be or are. It's almost like "hey look I can act like a 7 year old and be as much of a brat as I want cause no matter what guys will excuse my behavior and just call it being cute." A lot of them are drama queens, are late to shoots, hardly ever return phone calls in a timely matter, or even deal with criticism like an adult.
It's makes me want to choke people when I see these women walk all over everyone using their looks as a excuse me card. Even more so when I see guys feed into it. Now I can't say I haven't acted like a total moron at times for the same reason but I wish there was no need for such things.
I was talking to my friend Christine and we were talking about how it takes guys to be total assholes to date these sort of women. and that they all ruin it for the rest of us. Cause how does someone who's polite offer to buy a woman a drink or offer dinner over conversation with out running into a very solidified defense mechaism that hundreds of sketchy guys have caused in such a person? It's almost like one needs a varified set of credentials from mutual friends, a hefty bankroll, pristine waredrobe and hygene, razor wit humor, and a multitude of other personality traits and circumstances just to get a return warm hello.
So what's the alternative? Being on hell of a persistant asshole. Or at least that's the way it seems anyway. But I don't really blame women for being that way. Society is definitely not helping that situation with all the precautionary messages out there, roving preditors and perverts. Not to mention the straight up whack jobs that cause everyone to shy away.
I guess I'm just bitter and cynical cause the holiday wonderfully bring to light that yet again I'll be celebrating alone yet again this year. If it wasn't for family and friends I'd definite not be a pleasent person to be around. So where did this come from? Yesterday I accepted the counter offer to spend New Years Eve shooting at Eleven50 (the nightclub I shoot at) cause there is no sense in really partying since working will at least give me something to do while everyone takes a moment away for their new years kiss. Might as well capture the moments for everyone else since I won't have one for myself this year. But no need to worry as I'm not try to be pitiful about it just more being honest. The new years eve pay rate is definitely quite fantastic as it's about 5 times my normal nightly rate. :)
