30 Day Kpop challenge
SHINee
I can't find the link, but my fave was a SHINee one.
They made the typical questions, until the interviewer said/asks something along the lines about SHINee being like a family/best friends. Then Key says that he didn't consider the members his family, nor best friends, they were his teammates.
Maybe some hearts were broken, there was drama, and fans went batshit. But I really liked what he said.
I can't say for sure what was Key thinking when he said those words. But I can always speculate.
Key seems like a realist person, like he is conscious that SHINee won't be forever, and if it weren't for SHINee, he might have never meet those persons.
Their bonds are somehow forced. But that doesn't imply he doesn't care about the others. (Maybe he is just putting up walls to not get hurt.)
It's like me and my friends from high school. I like them, we have fun together and all that jazz. But the reason I became her friend in the first place it was to cope with the three years I had to spent together with all that people.
That's the reason why I like to see that Key is friends with other idols. Because those bonds feel more genuine. He choose to make them his friends, although he didn't have to. ( I think it has to do something with SM ent, their idols images feel more pre-fabricated and plastic)
TL;DR
Maybe I'm just projecting myself.
