Order of the Phoenix.
If you haven't seen it yet, you must go immediately to your nearest theater and watch the Order of the Phoenix movie. Maybe it was partly that I saw it in an IMAX theater and the final fight scene was in 3D, but that movies was FUCKING AWESOME!!! (oop now my rating is going to go up, lol XD).
The actress they got for Luna Lovegood was really spot on. You couldn't hope for a better portrayal of Luna, she had the perfect air of dreaminess about her, without making her look totally daft. Of course the movie did leave things out from the book, but I felt it was handled in a way overall that didn't really leave anything to be desired, for the most part. For example much (but not all) of Umbridge's annoying ass hattery was done in nice montage that gave you the idea the complete nuisance she was, while at the same time not making you sit through chapters of her grating on your nerves. I guess I was also expecting Umbridge to look a little more ugly and froggish, but this prim and pink version of Umbridge was as equally as grating, and I was still very happy when the centaurs made off with her.
A lot of this movie was a visual feast too, and seeing it at an IMAX theater only made it more so. When the OOTP is flying over London on their brooms, it was one of those "heck yeah! Now that's what I'm talking about!" moments. The perspective was perfect, and you really felt immersed in the scene. AND, if you want to talk about being immersed in the scene, you simply must find and IMAX theater to see the final battle in 3D, it was nothing short of incredible, and made the final showdown seem even more epic than in the book, if that is even possible.
Oh and if you thought the demetors were creepy in the previous movie......well you haven't seen anything yet.....*shiver*....
