Gundam 00?
Hmm, so I just watched the first episode of Gundam 00 (thanks for the rec, Gleep) and I have to say I'm hopeful. The art is gorgeous, a few of the characters already intrigue me, and there's this weird religious theme (which is always an anime kink of mine) that wasn't in Gundam W that I really appreciate.
The one downside that I'm waiting before I pass judgement on is that the "terrorist" team in this show seems a bit too... well, good. I mean, they work together as a whole team and seem pretty efficient. Part of what I really liked about GW was that the 5 terrorists/Gundam pilots were really great ON THEIR OWN, but really just kind of sucked when they tried to work together. Motivations and personalities clashed, they mostly had no idea what they were doing as the sides kept changing, and basically they all tried to shoot each other at some point or another.
But Gundam 00 definitely deserves a bit more of my time. But do you know what really sold me? THIS. I have no idea what the fuck this is or how it relates to the Gundam 00, but it is amazing... I totally want one.
