Guys, very few mosquito bites in all the past five years and now I'm getting EATEN ALIVE.
Talked about the stalker assassin vampire mosquito that bit me on the neck earlier. Today is the story of the militant PULSE WEAPONS MOSQUITO that attacked while I was trapped on the bus with this much bigger guy sitting next to me so that I could barely move a few inches, much less try and swat the mosquito away from my legs. THREE MORE BITES, all on one fifteen minute bus ride. D:
In other amusing stories for you (not amusing to me), I went to UBC for the staff meeting today and a little girl, no older than three, latched on to me thinking I was a princess. Haha, you say, but I was pretty terrified since her parents were right there and I had no idea what to do. Apparently, her mother explained to me with amusement, it was because she wanted to go see princesses today but her mom told her they wouldn't be going to see princesses... but lo and behold, there I was in my Shuffle summer uniform. And she had seen Shuffle before.
...Who shows Shuffle to a three year old kid? But I digress. I'm sure everyone else thought it was hilarious when she was dragging me around by the hand and when she wanted me to pick her up, but I felt so awkward 'cause I didn't know her name and I didn't know her parents... ^^;;
Eventually I managed to escape. XD;; By the way, AE has hip flasks for the staffers. That's right. Courtney had this great idea that we should fill it and go to the improv panel and take a sip for every ridiculous thing. I said a bunch of us should take up an entire row in the front and do this all synchronized. I think it's a fabulous idea. (We referenced slave-mon from TsukinoCon. omg.)
Jasper just asked why I keep my old hair (that I cut). I told him one day I'll make a creepy doll that has my real hair and I'll haunt him in it after I die. 8D
