This is something I've been wondering about for a while and I'd really appreciate your feedback ♥

My work has changed over the years, I draw less angst and porn and much more fluff and schmoop. But fandoms are full of very, very different stuff, right? So what is it that makes you wanna click the link? What makes you take a minute and really look at ( Read more... )

When I'm looking at art its more about the style of the artist than what the picture is. I look more for how the picture is drawn and colored(or not colored and just shaded/inked, For me art is about the art itself and not what the artist has drawn, if that makes sense. Yes and still look for pictures of charaters or scenes that I'm interested in but if something catches my eye because the artwork is beautiful then I'll look and admire. Plenty of times I'll go on deviantart and just browse the daily deviants to see what got posted and find gems.

I completely agree with everyone else, draw what inspires you. Your artwork is amazing and I love seeing what you draw and how you see it, because basically that's what art is how someone sees something. Not everyone sees something the same way nor would they get the same feeling or thoughts about it. When an artist puts pencil to paper they are showing us what they see and how they see it, their thoughts and feelings go into showing us how they view the object, scene or even the story that they are drawing about.

Thank you so much for a great feedback an yeah, it totally makes sense :) I happy to see so many people treating fanart like real art, appreciating the artist, skill and emotion. I love the fact that so many people discover artists through fandoms but follow them outside of it - it's so rewarding to see old friends still commenting on your work ♥

And I just wanted to say thank you for wonderful compliments and for watching my pictures so carefully ;)
