Almost there!
I officially have a new job! It's in BN, full time, with benefits. Yay! I'm finally going to be able to get out of the Sticks! I let my boss know today that I'm working until the end of the schedules she has made already. Of course, since my cohort is also leaving at the same time, my boss thinks we're out to screw her. Yeah.... Not on purpose, but can't say I'm all that broken up about it either. But they're getting people back that know how to cake decorate, so I'm not going to stress about it.
The worst part of the whole thing will be actually forcing myself to go to work and make a good show of it. But since the "other cake decorator" is back, I've been usurped as reigning cake queen, and relegated to busy work. I'm pissed. I barely had enough to do as it was. Today I almost left at noon because all my work was being passed on to the other person. ^_^;; JustalittlelongerJustalittlelongerJustalittlelonger.... Nnnnn....
Soon I will be on to bigger and brighter things. I will be out from under my mother's shadow. I will not be yelled at for falling asleep early. I will not be yelled at for watching TV. I will not be yelled at for saying "snot". I will be able to talk things out rationally with my new roomie, if need be, because she is a sensible, reasonable human being. Yay! Aaand she's going to let me Feng Shui what I need to. ^_^ Except the plants. They need the window. I will also be in an environment that is conducive to creativity and hopefully landing myself some freelance work. Thanks for all the criticism, by the way. Please keep it coming!
