Snow
I think this is the wettest winter I've seen in a long long time. It's on days like this, I wish there were teleporters. I really hate that Tenrai has to drive in this mixed weather stuff. Especially since he has to leave before the roads have been plowed. If you could call it plowed. I'm not really sure what they think they're doing. They bring the plows out and go along the roads, but it doesn't look or feel much different between the before and after-ness of it. At least on the bright side, with all the precipitation we've had this year, no one can freak out and start screeching "drought." I certainly hope so any way.
I definitely don't want to spend another winter in IL. At the very least, not so far north. The novelty's worn off. I know I'll probably never find the perfect place to live, but I can move somewhere where "below freezing" is something of a myth.
Man. I just worry so much when Tenrai has to go out in the muck. I can't believe that people don't put aside the jack-ass urge for the sake of safe driving. They need to have billboards that say, "Don't be a douche." It probably wouldn't do much good, but it would be fun to see.
For all of you subjected to the nasty winter weather, watch out for morons and take care of yourselves.
