This was marvelous. I really liked the way the new scenes put the entire story into context and give it closure. Another thing I like is how well you've shown Steve's ethics getting in the way of taking care of Tony, and how he's causing Tony unnecessary pain by his self-indulgent wallowing in denial. Tony isn't as broken as everyone else thinks, you can see that by the fact he came to rescue Steve and the rest of the New Avengers - with his typical self-sacrificing behaviour - and by the fact that even now he can still feel a sense of rebellion.

There's just one small nitpick from me - you talk about dominate-submissive relationships and grammar wise that really doesn't work, it should be dominant-submissive relationships, as dominate is a verb, not a noun or an adjective as submissive is.

I've just decided that the first time I read this, I was amazed.

Now, with the new scenes and actually READING the thing, I'm disturbed.

Still amazed, but disturbed as well.

My brain is torn between screaming DO NOT WANT and OMG is this awesome (and disturbing)! Read this over on the kink meme a while back but forgot about it until I stumbled upon your lj. The stuff added at the beginning is really great. Seriously, I had to pause for a minute while my mind was boggled by AU Steve and how fucked everything in that universe must be. How much of the alternate universe did u work out if you don't mind me asking? I'd love to hear more about it.

Also,it's nice to see some Steve angst.Tony angsts all the time, but I haven't read many fics where Steve does.But now I kinda want to see another fic where Tony is all back to normal and what his thoughts on the whole experience are and how his view of Steve is changed.
Dang it this fic is trying to give me plot bunnies!!

what happened was that during their fight at the mansion in Civil War, Steve lost it and killed Tony

I shouldn't have read that, now I'm freaked out.

I mean. I already had figured out that Steve had killed Tony in that universe, but mehh....I thought it was in the last battle, now, thinking about it during their fight in the mansion is just plain scary.

And quite unfair actually, wich is why it's so scary.

...I still have this secret really guitly desire to actually read THAT, but that's just sick of me.

God I'm screwed.

Poor Steve, Poor Tony, and Poor Logan.
As tough as the whole thing has been for Steve, it's going to have been worse for Logan, as he's been in Tony's shoes (control ect),and with his heighten senses, he probably caught on what was happening, before anyone else did.
Glad to see it all worked out well...Any chance of more (hopefully Tony face)

lol Maybe, but if I do ever return to this 'verse, it's not going to be very soon. I have NaNoWriMo in November, so I'll be pounding my brains out with an Ultimates fic. D:
