The 'L' word
So my sister told me like 15-20 minutes ago that I act like a loser. I'm not sure if she called me that cause she didn't realize I was talking to a friend on Skype while playing Diablo II with them therefore being very vocal about everything I was doing, or because she's criticizing my choice of playing games with online friends rather than hanging out with people in real life. Sorry if a lot of my friends live thousands of miles away and that I would rather hang out with them than a lot of people I know in person and that we enjoy spending time playing games with each other? I can't exactly go out and meet new people or even hang out with the friends I do have because I'm still broke and looking for work. What does she expect me to do? I honestly don't know why her opinion matters to me so much. I wish it didn't sometimes but it does. I guess I equate her opinion with the general public, or rather the public I care to make a good impression to.
