Stargate xover! And I have to agree, the movie works better than the series for this cause well series Jack would have loads to say and mess with your story...movie Jack would probably not say anything. Love Vanessa's nicknames for everyone and her friendship with Wes.

You'll figure it out. And you could work the movie to TV transition as Eric being subborn and not speaking to his father...which would give you the opportunity for Eric to get to the point where after his loss and after he comes to terms with it a bit he can go to his father. From what you've pointed out and what I've seen of TF it's a believable connection that I'm sure you'll find a way to make work.

If Eric's dad is supposed to be Jack O'Neill, you got the wrong military branch--he's Air Force, not Army. :)
