When I moved into my new apartment with my brother, his girlfriend, and her son, girlfriend and son had two cats. His was Morning Star, hers was Rhea, and they're half-siblings. She was talking about getting rid of Rhea, and I commented that if she really didn't want her anymore, I'd take her. The next thing I know, I have a cat.

It's kind of hard to see, but this is an emptied dresser we were in the middle of moving when we discovered morning star curled up inside of it. He just sort of stared at me blankly when I pulled out my camera phone and tried to catch his attention.
The color on this is slightly off; his ears are a little more orange, same as his tail. At this point he'd been checking out Bishie for so long that Bishie decided to ignore him in favor of staring at himself in his new mirror.
Right after we moved him in, we put Bishie on the top of the fridge to keep him away from the cats. Rhea sat there for literally about five minutes, just staring up at him. We called her and all, but she didn't move once. It was actually pretty funny. ^_^
I had a camera while I was in the bathroom, and I was trying to snag a picture of Rhea. She finally decided to lay down and pose for me so everyone could see how beautiful she is.
