Two questions:

How old is R.J.? (A rough guess is fine. I'm thinking somewhere early twenties, but I need an exact number.)

Did the Jungle Fury Rangers lose their Powers after the season finale? (I still haven't seen it, and I need to know for a plotbunny, but I haven't actually found it mentioned anywhere.)

1) I think of RJ as being between 25 and 30 ~ he acts like a twenty-something, and his dad says they haven't had any contact for seven years. Since his mom was never mentioned on the show, I can only assume that RJ was legal when he and his father parted ways, putting him at at least 25 now. (Though the fact that RJ and his dad differ on how much time has passed maybe indicates that they didn't go their separate ways at such an easy-to-remember milestone as 18?)

The only other time frames I can think of as possibly useful (?) are RJ knowing what happened between Mao and Dom when Dom left Pai Zhua six years ago (whether that means RJ was there, or just that he's had contact with either Dom or the school since, I don't know*) and RJ anticipating another five (or six ::amused::) years until JKP breaks even.

*I suppose it's possible that both RJ and Dom left the school that year, and that's why RJ thinks of it as being six years since he last spoke with his dad--equating his dad with Pai Zhua--while his dad remembers them not speaking for some time before that ♥

2)They didn't! Yay them! Casey, Lily, and Theo were chosen as the guardians of Dai Shi, and of course they weren't expected to have to fight when they were chosen, so it's possible that the role is a lifetime one. (Although, where were the previous guardians for the passing of the torch? Was Mao one of them? Was Mao the only one left? Did Mao know he was about to die? o.O)

The morphers, as RJ said, weren't associated with Pai Zhua at all, and they seemed to be working fine during the finale despite the fact that the Rangers spontaneously stopped using them in order to defeat Dai Shi ::admires:: No further mention was made of them, although Casey was seen wearing his Ranger jacket to teach at the academy an indeterminate amount of time later ♥
