And the peasants rejoiced: Yay.

Apparently the new calendar year is upon us. May it suck considerably less than the last one.

Seriously, for me, New Year's was Winter Solstice on the 21st, which is the Solar New Year. I already celebrated. Today I've brought in the new calendar year by reading starandrea's First series for the first time in ages in hopes of finally catching up on it (Even though I have absolutely *no* idea where I left off. -_-;;), fighting to keep my computer connected to the net since my brother made the mistake of moving the router two days ago and my computer hasn't wanted to hold a signal since, sending off the two e-mails that I didn't want to but really needed to, and staying in bed with plenty of aspirin on hand, as my knees are spasming as usual. Other than that, we had pizza and soda, and now I have a glass of Martinelli's. My heartburn is killing me. Oh, and there were a couple fireworks outside my window, courtesy of my brother's pyromaniac little brother.

Whoo. Have I mentioned that I really don’t do holidays?

-Goes back to reading-

randomness, holidays, rant
