That is kind of hard to do when Cruger always seemed off his rocker. XD But really enjoyed this chapter. The flashback makes me sad. ;___: But I love Hayley's comment...SOOOOOOO....TRUE! XD Anyway, great work. ^___^

I like your explanation for how Cruger took over B-squad, and it's nice to see that SPD hasn't just abandoned the A-squad.

Also, can I say (and I'm sure you know exactly what that is :P), that the mere mention of half(!) of the space team, just made my day? -Grins- Cause it totally did. ...Though I kinda sad they going, now we won't see them much at all, if at all, unless they come back sometime soon. But I don't see Andros coming back without A Squad, which means Ash and Zhane won't leave either... :(

Aww Wes... -Huggles him- Flashbacks were nearly teary. :( Of course, he can relate to Cruger in ways the others can't. My heart went out to Cruger in this chapter. Wes made a good point, even if the others still like to think of Cruger as a "stubborn old dog". ^^
