Terra Venture vrs. The Dark Fortress

Okay, so I'm staring at my desktop I just changed, which happens to be Astronema and the Dark Fortress now. And out of nowhere, it hits me:

You know, Terra Venture kinda looks a lot like the Dark Fortress.

With like, tons of windows cut in. And other stuff added on. It's in the shape of the dome, okay? Trust me on this!

Because it's, like, really hard to explain Terra Venture, so anything that makes it slightly less headache-inducing is automatically win and absolutely what happened. *nods firmly* As for how they talked Karone into it... hmm. Maybe she didn't want to destroy it because it was still "home" to her, and she didn't want to lose that, too? Or maybe, like, making it go all splodey was really inconvenient.

Remodeling it from the inside and cutting windows would have been engineering hell. But, they may well have copied the design.

I see it, I just think remodelling it would have been at least as difficult as building a new one which would be better suited to their needs and also, new. But it may have been easier to modify an existing design than come up with it from scratch.
