When I was pulling the episode titles from Wikipedia, this description made me laugh:

Toya and Yukito are starring in an independent film directed by Nakuru

That makes it sound so gritty!

Why, hello there, plot! You made it back just in time for the series to end ( ... )

Two things about this episode: One, although I’m glad to have the plot back and accelerating us toward the finale, I can’t enjoy this particular episode as much as I’d like because L-chan’s signature rant is true: it’s all contrived for the sake of the Yuki/Touya pairing and doesn’t hold up to close scrutiny. Clow has proven himself capable of pulling every thread across the space-time continuum that he likes, including when Sakura opens the book and how she faces the Judgment, but he overlooked the one simple fact that Sakura just wasn’t strong enough to carry Yue? Why manipulate things to such a fine point and yet allow this one thing to go so awry ( ... )

She’s spent more time around Yue than Yukito.

And even then, not very much.

So with one episode, Touya's entire reason for being is reduced to plot device. There was no other way to save Yue. NONE. No one had any ideas. This whole thing was apparently part of the plan then.

And then of course, all fic is from Yuekito's pov. "Oh noes, what is my life?" Well, your Sakura's guardian. She's your mistress. If we hadn't had to deal with the stupid unnecessary disguise post-judgment, this wouldn't even be an issue. Merging--not just for freeway traffic anymore.

But Touya? no1curr. His sacrifice is no big deal, apparently. Sakura cries and promises to protect him, and gee, what a great time for the two of them to lay it all on the table and talk about what's been going on the past two years. Oh, wait, no, we can't do that, because there's no time, because we needed to see Spinel acting like a three-year-old gorging on candy, and spend half an episode talking about how awesome cream soda is.

Did Touya just join in with Sakura’s ‘hoe’? If so, that’s hilarious.

That was! It's either contagious or hereditary.

I’d forgotten how long Touya was there hanging onto him and screaming at him to wake up, so I wonder why no one comes forward to help.

Because they're all secretly as sick of Yukito as I am?

Nakaru: If things keep going like this, Touya’s special thing will be taken away!
Spinel: His magic?
Nakaru: No, his virginity!

Sorry, dearie, Kaho got there first.

I wish Nakuru's threat had been more... threatening. My idea was that every time she jumped on him, she sucked away a little of his magic. Not enough to notice, but like taking an m&m from a candy dish. Take just one each time, and no one realizes it until the bowl is half-empty. Then Touya's powered-down, Nakuru's powered-up, and what happens to Yue then?

What did Kero think would happen if Sakura wasn’t strong enough and Touya just didn’t care? Would he have let Yue vanish completely rather than say anything at all? That's what it seems like, doesn't it? And ( ... )

he dude in a tie and sunglasses who's like... did he get lost on his way to some other anime? - Jeez, how did I notice the NSA agent in the background of this shot? He looks like a twenty-five year old assassin, not a high school student. Or maybe he's a fancy American talent scout there looking for fresh young talent. Maybe he'll recruit Nakaru and take her to Hollywood, where her flamboyance will fit right in ( ... )

Ah, the dreaded episode. Granted, it’s #2 behind Meilin’s heartbreak, but it’s still not fun to watch ( ... )

Uh, if they were going to so much trouble to hide modern day Tomoeda, in the movie, why is the kid’s fiberglass penguin slide in the shot?

Haha, I never thought of that. I guess Nakuru was too busy being ~artsy~ to be consistent.

ONE OF? FRIENDS? In what universe have we ever even seen Touya talk to someone else besides Yukito that’s his own age?

As a loner myself, I get Touya's antisocial tendencies, but it does make me sad for him that he has no emotional support network, especially at this crucial time. He spends these episodes constantly reassuring Yukito that everything's fine. I don't think he's being honest--it could be denial or a sense of not wanting Yuki to feel guilty--but what is he supposed to say? Who can he talk to about what he's really feeling? It's why I brought in Kaho in WIDK. Also because canon didn't give us their scene, bastards, but that's another episode.

See how the writers threw in this quickie montage of Sakura and Yukito frolicking at the school fairWhat are Syaoran and Tomoyo doing during this, just ( ... )
