52 Pick-Up Drabbles

These have been sitting on my computer for a while. As usual, I fail at coming up with decent titles.

Title: Dream
Challenge: 52 Pick Up
Theme: #9 - Dream
Rating: G
Length: Drabble
Characters: Sakura, Syaoran
Summary: Her dream left her with a half-faded impression of sunshine...

Her dream left her with a half-faded impression of sunshine, of flowers. Pink and red and blue and yellow and purple and all the colors you could imagine, flowers covering the ground and everything else under the cloudless blue sky. Vaguely she remembered her friends surrounding her at the beginning - she half-thought that they had faded off, but her attention had been caught by the boy next to her. She was beginning to forget, as the jarring noise of her alarm clock dragged her towards wakefulness and further out of her dream, but she remembered laughter, both of theirs, and lying on her back in the flowers with him at her side. As she fumbled to silence the alarm, a last fleeing fragment of her dream drifted back to her - a kiss, soft and sweet.
She promptly rolled over and went back to sleep.

Title: Glow
Challenge: 52 Pick Up
Theme: #18 - Glow
Rating: G
Length: Drabble
Characters: Touya, Sakura
Summary: His sister had always glowed, ever since they were young

His sister had always glowed, ever since they were young - a faint, pale light that was as much a part of her as her bright green eyes. That was actually his first indication that something was going on - that glow began to grow stronger, just a little bit. Instead of shimmering faintly under her skin, it began to brighten as she learned how to control what was latent before. He wasn’t entirely sure how it had started, but it certainly had something to do with that stuffed animal friend of hers. Then came the times when she would almost exhaust her magic, until it was barely a flicker, but it would quickly return, gaining brightness each time. It’s strange for him, not being able to see it anymore - like it’s not quite Sakura that he’s looking at - but he’s getting used to it. And even though he can’t see it, he’s still sure; his little sister no longer glows - she shines.

Apologies if I messed up the tags.

sakura, touya, syaoran/sakura
