Weekend
It's monday,
Had an extended weekend in DC, arrived thursday night instead of the normal Friday. Another evening and part of the day to visit with the lovely and wonderful
romamink. Ate at a couple new places, saw Hot Fuzz (yes, go see it....Yarp!), played a little pool, had a semi picnic and generally had another awesome time. Love you hun.
First job interview in DC went well and the company was really cool. Waiting for the second round, this time a tech interview. Just hope it goes as well as the first phone interview and the onsite personnel interview. The job market in DC is just fricking unreal, I know it's only a matter of time before I get placed.
Went and helped with the Glen Echo mascot event. Sorta disappointed that I didn't bring my suit. I had initially planned on it but was informed that they had all they needed. I think I could have squeezed in a performance or two. Oh well, next time.
Had dinner with
rigel and
xydexx at a very good mogolian bbq place then we walked around Bethesda looking for ice cream. That area has really changed a lot and become very upscale. Was neat to see and experience it with everyone.
