Festivals and projects and Yu-Gi-Oh, oh my!
*munches on toast* I've got no right to complain about being really busy when I know that my friends are at least as busy, if not busier, with all the stuff they've got to do, but hey, what are Livejournals for if not to rant and bitch and complain?
I'm waiting for the pics to print for my art project, due Friday (I think I'm gonna kill the ink cartridge with all the stuff I need to print, and then the printer has to go and screw up all the paper...damn technology. Can't live with it, can't live without it. Oi vey)
Sang in music competition today; did fairly well. Mom liked it at least, so that's all that matters^^ Have to sing again tomorrow...I hope I won't be so nervous this time around. Mind you, the adjudicator IS a hard marker, but...meh.
Next on the proverbial 'to-do' list is to finish (okay, start) my History project, also due Friday. Following that is the English assignment to be...started (don't look at me like that. I said I was busy!) which, I may add, is due on Friday as well. Gah! WAY TO SCREW UP MY FRIDAY, YOU STUPID TEACHERS!!! BAKAAAAAAS!!!!!!!!
.......I am calm now.
Also, I am expected to do research for yet another History project, to be taken in on, guess when? Friday >_<
I swear, someone up there has it IN for me. *bashes head off desk repeatedly*
On a slightly less-complainy note, I'm loving watching Yami duel Yami Malik ( even if it IS the evil dub. It's not THAT bad...sometimes.) Seeing Yami's concern for his aibou melts me. Watching Yami Malik act like the evil badass he is is fun.
HOWEVER....
Listening to all the dialogue I KNOW has been changed sucks. Listening to Yugi and Yami go on and on about saving the world when they're really trying to get Yami's memories back ticks me off. Watching the gang point out the obvious repeatedly is downright annoying. Malik's dub voice is horrible, as always. Finally, going online and finding out a whole bunch of scenes here and there are missing really frustrates me. I don't care if it's the dub or nothing...*to dubbers* YOU MORONS! If you're gonna dub the thing, DO IT RIGHT!!!
And the icing on the cake?
Yesterday's episode.
Tea: "You go, boy!"
Joey: "Merick's so scared, his hair's standin' up!Oh wait, he always looks like that!
*falls to the ground and curls up, shivering* No...NO!!! *covers ears* It...it's the horrible dubbed lines! DON'T LET THEM GET ME!!!!
*glares when she hears her yami and her muses snickering in the background. The snickers quickly become a series of coughs*
...Once again, seeing Yami Malik act all freaky is awesome^^ As a bad guy, he's pretty cool. Unlike Pegasus, who wanted to be reunited with his lover, or Yami b, out for the Sennen items, all this guy wants is chaos, suffering, and destruction. And lots of it.
Well, pics are done. Time to work on Art project some more.
Thought for the day? Working with charcoal is MESSY >_
