I sorta did this out of order again, so please ignore the continuity issues. ^^; I did things as I thought of them.
First, we'll start with the hearts on the side of the wings. The top of the crown needs little ball details. I had originally thought of doing puff paint for this, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that it wouldn't be perfectly round. So instead, find 6 small beads in the proper proportion, and 6 small applique pins.
Thread a bead on the pin. Very carefully and VERY GENTLY push the pins into the three peaks of the crown. If the foam is not completely sealed, this step will fail miserably!
Before pushing the pins all the way in, add a dab of super glue so the beads will stay attached to the crown.
Next, we have some more craft foam details that had slipped my mind. ^///^ Make little circles that will go on the bottom knob and attach with super glue. Seal with modge podge.

Then we turn our attention to the "tiara".
Refine the shape of the heart pieces using an exact-o knife and sand paper. Tape the red gem in its proper place on the "tiara" for a temporary bond. Carefully super glue the heart parts around the gem. Remove gem. Repeat on the back side.
And now we're gonna go nuts with puff paint. At this time, I haven't finished the puff paint detail and frankly, it's going to take forever so I'm going to jump the gun and show what needs to be done for those watching at home. The thing to remember about puff paint is that you MUST do it in stages because it has to dry flat.
Other areas that need to be "puffed":
(cut the craft foam mentioned at an angle so it's not so square-ish)
all parts in color will be done in puff paint. For the really big parts near the blade, smooth it with the tip of your paint bottle as you go. If it's not perfect after it dries, you can use an exact-o knife to shave off the excess bumps.
