ladyterentia: crown front, take 2!
I took another stab at the front piece. It took me the whole course of Return of the Jedi to make it. XDD (okay, the first 15 minutes of the movie was all resin stuff, but who's counting?)
So anyway. What do you think of this version?

The gem just slides into place right now and the rectangle bits are kinda...stuck. I think I pushed down too hard on the V spikes. Better stuck to a rectangle than limp, right? ^///^; I've got my exact-o knife out and am about to try to hack it off without a finger going with it. XD
Didn't get around to starting on any leaves, so perhaps that'll happen tomorrow during naptime...
