I keep thinking of things to add to my commission guidelines. I've never done an open "store" like this, so please bear with me as I get things sorted out and polished up to a more professional level. This addition doesn't really affect anything current, but it's there as more of a back-up plan, in the event of a worst-case-scenerio.
"~ If work has begun on your item and payments are not completed or if you do not contact me within two months with a suitable explanation, your commission and any payments previously sent will be forfeit. You may still make a commission in the future, but if this sort of thing happens on more than one occassion, you will be black-listed and any further commission requests will be denied. Under the above circumstances, the completed item will be offered to the general public. Any request by the original customer to purchase the item once it is offered to the public will be denied."
I know that might sound kinda harsh, but I cannot afford to take business from flaky individuals as it only hurts me in the long run. And anyway, as long as you hold up your end of the bargain, there really won't be a problem!
