pimp the first: spn_summergen, a supernatural gen fic exchange. you can sign up until april 15 and fics aren't due until june 20. it's all gen, all the time, and you get a month and a half to write. it'll be a long and lonely summer without new episodes, and god knows we'll have to do something to forestall the wank cheer ourselves up. i know there's gen ( Read more... )

i dunno, i kinda like jimmy, even tho he always makes me yell at the tv. and sean is just beginning to get air time! he's just starting to be his own character and not just "the brother in the hospital because the italians beat him up." and mom! and joey ice cream! i wanna know how much of what he's telling the cops is true! i bet he made the whole thing up and we'll never know.

D8 They keep cancelling shows I loved. TBD, Conviction and The Book of Daniel.

Christ. *swears blue streak* I refused to watch anything else on NBC after Heroes is finished. It won't tempt me.

This thing amuses me muchly about the pornathon: the longest prompt list by pairing is for Kevin and Tommy, and the most-requested crossover is SPN. \o/

i did note all the tommy/kevin prompts, indeed. i really want someone to write sam and kevin sitting in a diner eating pancakes and bitching about their brothers, to the point where tommy and dean getting it on in the alley is kind of incidental. sam and kevin isn't exactly suited for the pornathon, tho....

i don't think fnl is in nearly as much danger as tbd was, but i don't know for sure. man, i'm going back to the scifi channel. they don't cancel shows i like in the middle of the season.

Um, hi. You don't know me and this doesn't really have anything to do with your post, but I discovered your LJ a couple days back and read through all of your OT4 stories in a single night. (Well, it did end up stretching into the wee hours of the morning, but that's inconsequential.) For what it's worth, I think they're ridiculously, amazingly fantastic.

Anyhoo, the fantastic foursome (especially Daniel and Nash *coughs*) got lots of plot bunnies bouncing around in my head, and I was wondering if it might be possible for me to write fanfiction for them?

Feel absolutely free to tell me to piss off if you so desire. *relurks*

your name is familiar.... and i'm all ^_^ and kind of O.O that you read the ot4 so fast.... i mean, wow. thank you. :D

i'm all kinds of flattered that you want to write fanfic for them (ot4fic? :D ), and i hate to say no but i kind of have to. the thing is, i want to try and publish them someday, and it gets kind of hinky rights-wise if there's already fanfic out there. not that i think you would ever try and claim them as yours, but it could still be a thing with publishers. after they've been published, tho, that's a different story.

but i would never tell you to piss off, because seriously, i think it's really cool that the boys and girl made such an impression on you. and plot bunnies are never bad things.

*blinkblink* Familiar? Really? Hm. I can't imagine why. And yes, after midnight started turning into 1:00 I probably should have gone to bed... But I stayed up until 4 to finish it anyway. *laughs*

Are you kidding? The four of them are incredible. I fail to see how they can not make an impression on anyone who reads them. And plot bunnies, while useful, are also kind of annoying. The one in my head is insisting that Nash's brother is named Jason, and his wife is named Jenna. And-okay, I'll stop babbling now. *blushes*
