question for the classics types on the flist

can anyone recommend a good translation of the iliad? readable, interesting, accurate, all that good stuff. (is for my sister. she saw troy and has been on a quest to find the iliad and read it. i'm pretty sure i have a copy but i have no idea where it is.)

also, i swear the dj just mentioned something about gene loves jezebel tickets. *looks at calendar* yep, still 2005.... o.O
