this is actually kind of a to-do list, it just doesn't look that way
my boss was at a site today, then popped in the office for like ten minutes, then popped back out for lunch. woot! i have stuff to do, i mean i can't totally slack off, but i'm in a "please leave me alone so i can do stuff" kinda mood. except i need him to be here so i can ask for next wednesday off. (i have an interview at the north bennet street school. did a lot of you have to interview for your undergrad school of choice? the interview is at 11 and it would just be easier for me to take the whole day off. i apparently get a personal day, anyway. and then i need to send in the application.... *cough* )
also i need to get my roommate a birthday present because her birthday is friday - we're exactly three days apart - nifty and scary at the same time - but she's going away for the weekend starting tomorrow so i want to send it with her but i haven't gotten anything yet. >.< also i need a card. i want to get her the time traveler's wife but the bookstore across the street doesn't have it. farwing? if you happen to be reading this at pandemonium? if you have a spare copy could you please put it aside for me and i'll come get it tonight? pleeeeze?
...and then possibly i should get her something else. hm.
i want a cupcake with frosting two inches deep. mmmfrosting. i should have some cake, you know? there used to be a bakery down the block from my office, but it's a bank now and there's no place to get a good cupcake. starbucks doesn't carry them and i don't want a doughnut because they don't have frosting.
oh, and i should probably do the dishes at some point.... and i have some ideas for 100originalfics prompts. woo. :D
