misc geekery, friday edition
1. met wrenlet in person today, and thistle90 who i didn't know but is very nice. (they got lost. this is only partly my fault.) there was fansquee and generalsquee, and i realized i've known wren long enough that i don't even know how i know her. heh. :D was most fun, altho we didn't have tons of time to talk.... but still. i love getting to meet people i know from lj - they're always lovely people.
2. scifi is actually showing firefly in order! O.O as in, they ran the actual pilot of the series tonight. woo! still good, kaylee still adorable. also sg:a was excellent, bsg very tense, and sg1 hurts my brain, but not in a good way.
3. there was a #3 but i don't remember what it was.... oh - i'm not sure how much i like the current plotline on sg1 (i mentioned the brain-hurty, yes?) but i LOVE vala. she makes the cutest faces, and it looks like claudia black is having fun playing her.
4. helped farwing brainstorm for sensory overload (interlock's original fic ficathon), altho this did not help me with MY story.... as in, i still have no idea what to write. >_< but her idea is really cool. :D
