had a really good think about the rantod in the shower last night, which started out with burial practices and managed to segue into agriculture and animal husbandry (mainly herding and what someone might do with a rampageous herd of free-range goats, aside from curse at them, and whether or not selling milk and cheese from said goats would be enough to justify having them), and then segued into a much more scattered think about jacob and rel and drugs in the fae 'verse (and how jacob could've od'ed twice and died once), and then i sat down to watch some of ronin before lost was on, and it vanished. >_< and then it got to be 10 and i realized it was tuesday and lost was on on wednesday so i watched the rest of ronin off and on and was mostly confused and annoyed that sean bean left after the first half hour. but, you know, jean reno, i like him, and natascha mcelhone was the nun in revelations, wasn't she? the miniseries with... uh... bill pullman. so. yeah. note to self: don't wait to write it down next time. dork.
i do all my best thinking in the shower or the car, or very occasionally washing dishes. i don't get a lot of actual thinking done in front of the tv, no matter what lovely visuals the 13th warrior or gladiator (or, ok, king arthur) conjures up for me. *sigh* hopefully i can remember what i forgot, aside from "people die and are either buried or cremated," and "farther north on the island, up in the mountains, are goat herds, but no one actually eats goat unless they're desperate"....
villagechick and vb are coming thru boston today on their road trip, and they're staying with me, and i never actually gave them directions to my house. *facepalm* but vc has my work number. *sends "call me before you get too lost" vibes* i predict either sushi or bbq in the near future, or both. why yes, i AM all about the food. and the
bbq. ^_^
