i have a porch garden and it's very exciting

also some tiny unripe tomatoes, because why not. someday they'll be red and we'll eat them.
i expect baby cukes any day now.
today i went over to tamalinn's to help her hang a shower curtain rod (they need four hands) and see her new apartment and it's really cute. there's some kitchen stupidity but nothing that can't be fixed, and more importantly it has a YARD. a PRIVATE YARD. and it really is a nice place. and it took like five minutes to get the shower curtain rod to stay up. and i got to pet the dog. :D
yesterday my sister and i kind of repeated last week by going to another cute town on the water about an hour away (rockport), mostly so she could buy soap and partly as an excuse to get out of town. the weather was FABULOUS and i really like rockport and i had fried shrimp for lunch and it was just really nice. that night i went over to her house and we watched the king's man which is the prequel to the kingsman movies, and to be honest i liked 1 and 2 better. the king's man is set during ww1 and there's only so much ridiculousness you can get away with when you do that.
my bang is posted (yay) and it's weird to not have to think about it any more. i mean, last weekend i finished the edits and last tuesday i mocked up all the posts and this weekend... i didn't have to do anything. it's always weird for a few days after i finish something big. the end of nano is the same. i've gotten two comments here (the first of course asking when i was going to post on ao3 >.< ) and one on ao3 and the two actual comments said some nice things. and people like the art! which i take no credit for but i'm glad people who aren't me are enjoying it. it's my last bang and i'm pleased with it - it's the story i wanted to tell, at least once i figured out what the story was, and it's kind of an experiment, and i feel like i'm going out on a high note. it's my thirteenth bang - lucky thirteen. :D
curious about the weird analog world of movie sound effects and the people who make them? because not everything is computer generated.
the deep south's dames of dildos - a mom, daughter, and granddaughter who all sell sex toys in alabama, where the sale of such things is illegal. (they get around this partly by claiming their inventory is "health stuff".)
