i'm thisclose to being all packed (barring stuff like toiletries and sheets and the food in the fridge). i have my keys for the new place. i finally got my resident parking permit. i have floor plans so i know where all the furniture goes (assuming i measured all the rooms accurately). i have leftover chinese takeout for breakfast. i'm parked in front of the house to save the space for the moving truck. i think the truck will be too long for the space. >.< by the time the movers come tomorrow i will have used every single box friend a gave me, plus every box i got from u-haul. plus some grocery bags, a trash bag (i totally forgot to pack my shower curtain and then i was out of boxes), and a plastic milk crate. i still have a non-trivial amount of stuff that for one reason or another can't be packed, and which will have to go in my car. >.< the landlady refinished the floors - they look sooooo nice - and i have totally forgotten where i packed my bag o' felt feet. hopefully they're in one of the boxes marked "kitchen", since that's where they used to live.
am i excited yet? i'm exhausted by the thought of unpacking and having to find space for everything. so, no, not really. (fortunately
farwing feels the same.) wish me luck. O.O
in totally other news,
the cheez-it is 100. a whole century of cheese cracker. eat some and celebrate. :D
