(raiders of the lost ark is on and i am clearly constitutionally incapable of changing the channel if i discover it. at some point i will end up watching this movie with someone else in the room and will have to apologize for quoting as much of it as i do. most of my memory of the dialogue is even accurate.)
(i'm gonna blow up the ark, rene!)
(yes, blow it up. blow it back to god.)
anyway. work is work. my sister got her first vaccination on monday and is now on me to get my jab so we can go to florida at the end of may. i keep telling her i'm not eligible yet but i don't know if that matters. passover starts saturday night and i'm all stocked up on matzah and fishlets. i love me some fishlets. and tomorrow... we bake! (apple cake.) i spent some quality time today giggling at suez canal memes on tumblr. i still can't get over the fact that a container ship skewed sideways in the canal, ran aground, and
is blocking traffic. like 12% of the world's sea traffic goes through the suez canal. which might not sound like much, but it's so many ships and so much money that the japanese company that owns the container ship
apologized. apparently it's been stuck long enough that everyone is just
going around the cape of good hope instead like it's the seventeenth century. it's not funny, but at the same time it's just so ridiculous and surreal that you have to laugh. well, i do, anyway.
(we have top men working on it right now.)
(who?)
(top. men.)
what should we wear, now that working from home (at least for those of us who work from home) means no more dress code? well, no more dress code for the parts of you that folks on the zoom call can't see. wear the fancy pants. :D or, you know, no pants.
...now i'm watching into the spider-verse. "and what dimension are you from?" "brooklyn."
