it gets kind of whiplashy at the end

first, happy late birthdays to colls and azewewish. fabulous fellow fangirls. :D better late than never, right?

my sister came over for new year's and we ate a lot of appetizers (the pigs in a blanket were soooo good) and watched a lot of the crown (and i spent a lot of time wanting to smack philip and tell him to grow the fuck up and stop whining), and caught some of the ball drop on cnn. she wanted to watch andy cohen and anderson cooper. and then we did the same thing new year's day. it was actually really nice and chill.

i've also seen the undoing (in which nicole kidman gets to wear some gorgeous coats and high grant has the perfect face for his character) and the first couple episodes of the watch (which bears zero resemblance to what i guess is supposed to be its discworld source material but wasn't entirely unwatchable) and the doctor who new year's episode (which i enjoyed for the jack harkness and because i like thirteen, but i was kind of bummed about ryan and think i should watch it again). all i do is watch tv since i can't go anywhere. i haven't even started working on my bigbang. >.< i did however submit my holiday project for writing group on time, go me.

re-entry to work wasn't bad. physical therapy continues, uh, therapeutic. i'm ready to start walking again. (my ankle is probably not.)

i keep track of everything i do during the work day, just so i know how i spend my time, and today i had to add "aaaaand then insurrectionists stormed the capitol and i got nothing done", so i'd know why there were no tasks after 3:00. wtf. how is this the country i now live in? and how many of those people can we shoot for treason? sedition? whichever works.

wtf, the undoing, writing group, dr who, new year's, fun with my sister, the watch, bigbang, ouch, psa, nerd support
