voices, another sound
i walked down to the grocery store this morning (where i spent more than i was expecting, and i'm still not sure how) and cabbed home, because a. it's ALL UPHILL from the store to my house, b. it was hot, and c. i was, you know, loaded down with groceries. and then the card reader in the cab wouldn't take my card! it kept being declined! i had like three bucks in cash. which wasn't enough. i was mortified. >.< cab driver was nice about it, tho.
i'm almost done with dark s3 and it's both confusing as hell and annoyingly repetitive. i mean, the same things keep happening, the same behaviors from generation to generation. which might be part of the point? there's also a certain amount of "this has to happen because it already did" or "it has to happen because it just does", and nothing has changed the future - it's debatable as to whether or not anything can - so i'm starting to wonder why anyone is still trying. after this i might need something with a greater chance of a happy ending.

so i was actually a teenager by the time arena (duran duran's live album) came out, but the original studio version planet earth is legitimately pre-teen me.
