OH MY GOD SO WET EVERYWHERE
so today it poured rain. :| it started right before i left for work, and in the five minutes it took to get from the office to the t station, i got SOAKED. i had an umbrella, too. but i felt like i'd taken a shower in my clothes. my shoes squelched the whole way home, and by the time i got to my house even my ass was wet. :| i love that kind of weather, tho. i just don't like being out in it.

Jared has only been in Boston a few months when he walks into a bar called Abigail's and meets Jensen, the bartender. Jensen likes crossword puzzles, old movies, and super hot chili peppers, and they become friends. Jared thinks a road trip to New Mexico to find the world's hottest peppers would be a great idea, but Jensen has a secret - he was born in colonial Boston, he's over 260 years old, and he's a vampire.
They go to New Mexico anyway, encountering fellow travelers and ghostly horses and the highway at night, and learning more about each other. It turns out that crossing the country in a camper with your best friend is a great way to fall in love, even if one of you is undead. Who knew?
it includes at least one cameo probably no one is going to catch, some foreign words, handwaving about super hot peppers, the odd crossword, the odd historical mention, and traces of chad. it's called jared and the undead bartender, it's the second iteration of the third idea i had for the bang, and cassiopeia7 picked my summary for arting. she's the third person who picked me whose art i already know. it's pretty cool. i'm excited. :D
who remembers the show st elsewhere? if you don't, the hospital was called st eligius. and the prison ship on the 100 is also called the eligius, which is giving me the weirdest, most incongruous flashbacks. (st elsewhere introduced me to so many actors who have gone on to so many other things. it was such a good show.)
killing eve continues to be fantastic altho the most recent episode was touched with stupid. izombie is just getting darker and darker altho ravi continues to be THE CUTEST. but it's an uphill battle. i missed the timeless season finale but will catch up, and i hope it doesn't end on a cliffhanger because i don't know if it's been renewed or not.
also, rip margot kidder. :( for better or ill, you'll always be lois lane to me. i liked amy adams (she was probably the only thing about man of steel i did like) but she wasn't you.
