What I just finished reading:
the stone heart, which ended on a slightly more "what happens next??" note than vol 1. i hate having to wait a year to see how it turns out.
What I am reading now:
lord john and the private matter, which i am really enjoying. the narrative style is very soothing, the supporting characters are varied, lord john is charming, it feels very well-researched (it's set in london in the 1750s, a place and time i know nothing about, so diana gabaldon could be making everything up and i'd never know, but i don't think she is), and the mystery is nicely convoluted. and eventually lord john is going to have the hots for a local guy rather than whatshishair from outlander, and i am totally down with that.
What I'm going to read next:
the next lord john book, maybe. or the killing moon. who knows!
the 100 had a couple yay! moments (altho one was a yay!-but-that-doesn't-make-any-sense moment) and then it broke my heart. it was a little less tense than last week, tho.
you can get a
vincent van gogh action figure. his ear comes off! and you can replace it with a bandage! which i think is both sick and adorable. the company that makes him is also running a kickstarter for
a frida kahlo, with a detachable heart and a fresh flower scent. (yes, really.) she is also adorable.
dear ontario, i think i speak for all of us when i say
what the actual fuck? (you have to see the photo gallery. trust me.)
