at least i can sleep on the bus
i should be in bed. it took me almost no time to pack, which makes me think i forgot something. i also spent some quality time at work thinking i was forgetting to do something, which is frustrating and annoying and makes me kinda nervous. i warned everyone i was going to be out, at least.
next week we get four new hires and three interns. we only have four cubes. the interns are all going to have to use one of the little conference rooms as i guess a group office. i find this really, really amusing. i'm probably the only person who does.
there's a place in new york that makes a dessert that looks like a potted plant. the greenery is parsley. heh.
knitted and felted creatures. so cute! i love the felted scallops (i think they're scallops) and the jellyfish.

a dagger buried with king tut was made out of a meteorite. apparently the ancient egyptians were up on their meteorite knowledge, and possibly ascribed great value to meteor iron.
