Working with you was such a pleasure and I was SO relieved when you contacted me and told me you were my author. It's so stressful for an artist to NOT know xD Ha! Ha! But I guess it's the same thing for authors, right? :)

Thank you so much for this great story! I loved J2's first kiss on the roof, Jared's dog being noisy and VERY present, NYC being a character on its own and of course, the boys dressed as Han Solo and Boba Fett :)

you're late to comment, i'm late to comment on the comment.... better late than never. :D

claims are a little less stressful for authors, because we can see who claimed our summaries before you guys know whose summaries you claimed. (altho waiting to be picked is full of stress. i always feel so bad for people who are claimed late.) i still love the fact that i was at my parents' house during artist claims and dear-tiger had to text me to tell me you'd picked my story again, and my reaction was HOW DID THAT HAPPEN? hee. but it worked out so well. ^_^

i needed all that reference so i'd know what things look like! i'm just happy my pics helped. and i really, really loved your art. i wasn't even thinking about how hard jared's halloween costume might be to draw when i decided that's what he was going to wear. oy.

i just hope more people read this year's than read last year's.

of course you can add this to your rec list! you never have to ask for a rec! altho i love that you did. ^_^ (it's so polite!) this will eventually go up on ao3, altho i usually wait until everyone has posted their bangs, just because i want as many comments as possible in as few places as possible.

also, i'm really glad you liked the fic. it was fun to write. (partly because i could scout locations in person.... i mean, last year's bigbang was set in paris and i can't exactly take a bus to france for the day.)

and isn't the art amazing? i really lucked out.

Thanks for the permissions! (I have run across a few writers who've requested to not share their works on sites like tumblr since it is not just for & by fans, so I have learned to ask first. I understand that mindset as my RL occupation is not compatable with my fanfic reading or writing either. Thank goodness for aliases and Nom-de-Plumes.)

I did really love the story. Most of my reading is shorter PWP fanfics, but I love to dive into a long, detailed, BB type story on my days off. I tend to prefer mainly angst ridden, harsh life experiences, with lots of kink; however sometimes I just need a feel good, relationship building, romance filled, everyday world experience. You delivered for me!

You did get an amazing artist. (I checked out more of her work on deviantart and loved it too.)

if i was an artist i might feel differently - i mean, i've seen art posts on lj that say "please don't post this on tumblr, please reblog the actual tumblr post" with an appropriate link - but eh, it's a link in a recs list, it's not like you're taking my fic and reposting the whole thing somewhere else. y'know? i totally get that some people don't want to cross the streams and need to know who's reccing their fics where, but i write so little fanfic that i really don't mind.

oh wow, the stuff you like to read really isn't the stuff i generally write. (well, not as fanfic. my fanfic tends towards the fluffy. my original stuff sometimes has more angst in. sometimes.) i so appreciate that you took a chance on my non-kinky little love story.
