because i had a bit of a head cold last week, now i have a fucking annoying persistent cough. like, i hacked up a lung the entire time i was on the bus this morning - even around the cough drops - and i felt so bad for everyone else on the bus with me. i try really hard not to cough in anyone's direction, even with my face in my elbow. i got some cough syrup on the way home, on the recommendation of coworker d, and does it work? it does not. >.< i am seriously not fit to be in public.
i thought i had something else to say besides that but i don't think i do. i think i liked vikings last night, altho there are a lot of plot threads and i wish each episode would concentrate on maybe two, instead of giving us a few minutes of every single one, every week. i loved everyone pouring their wine out on the floor after kwenthrith (or however you spell her name) poisoned her brother and then told everyone to toast her. heh.
also, damn straight athelstan's going back to kattegat with ragnar. staying in wessex where he could be in love and try not to sleep with judith is just asking for trouble. besides, come on, ragnar loved him first.
