we had an ice cream social at work today to, uh, "celebrate" isn't the right word, but it's the start of busy season so we got ice cream. ben & jerry's. with hot fudge and whipped cream. yum. other than that, it was kind of boring. i CANNOT WAIT until the actual receptionist starts actually recepting.
so. flist. those of you who go to bars, tell me about them. do they serve food? have music? what about pool tables? lots of beers? fancy-ass cocktails? what's the clientele like? what do you drink? (i may or may not be thinking about jack and quince and the bar where quince works. i can hang around art supply stores and pet supply stores, and god knows i'm familiar enough with coffee houses, but i'm not a bar-goer and need some help here.) also! if you know anything about bourbon and/or scotch and/or hyper-local craft beers, lay it on me.
