railroad of wretches hell on wheels returns tonight so amc is running a marathon right now and i want to sit around and watch it and remind myself what happened last season except i also need to leave the house to a. write my entry for therealljidol and b. pick up my comics. (new hawkeye! which evidently addresses his deafness! i'm not sure what else is in. oh, sandman: overtures. but i don't know what else.) and possibly c. write another jack and quince ficlet, and maybe even d. make more notes for bigbang 2015. also it's kind of cool and damp and breezy out and i want to walk in it.
the lj idol topic is "a terrible beauty has been born" and it makes me think of oskar and conrad. well, and yeats. but oskar and conrad. and, er, the atomic bomb. it makes sense in my head, ok?

this is a nice article about teenagers who write fanfic. it takes fic seriously, and it takes the girls who write it seriously. it does kind of treat fanfic as a new thing, and we all know it isn't, but still, it's always nice to read an article about fanfic and fanficcers that isn't all "look at the freaks and their freaky porn".
i forgot to mention that i finally registered for wincon, yay! who else is going? what days are you going to be there? who wants to do the ghost tour with me? *bats eyelashes fetchingly* they're fun.
