Seriously, SO FUCKING GOOD. It takes place in New York in the 70s, and it truly captures the entire fuck you DIY spirit, and the dangerous vibe of 1970s Brooklyn and the clubs and everything else.

Hey, you you know you can pretty much count on me to at least know they exist. :D I don't read every Bucky/Steve fic, but I do scroll through the tags on A03 often enough to know what's out there.

this was stunning. Absolutely amazing. the only detail that was off was the safety-pins in the leather jacket (you need a hammer to get those in and it's HARD to do, which is why it's studs and paint for leather and pins for denim for most DIYers).

i cannot even with that hair. i hope that was for a role, otherwise... no. just no. some guys look good with a bleach job, and some guys don't. he don't.

my guess is that is was for a role - maybe a play, rather than tv or a movie - because that just looks so different from anything he's worn in any candid pics.

found it! he did a play called talk radio on broadway in 2007. i found a cute interview, not actually all that dorky. (altho him going "no, i wasn't that starstruck" just reminded me that he walked into a fridge on account of robert redford.) maybe he had to grow into the dork. still can't be having with the hair, tho.
