today it was rainy and i was the humid bunny. also SO BORED AT WORK. and my brain wasn't even firing on all six cylinders with some single-minded desire to write an mcu au. (honestly i think it was a week or so of crazed fixation and then i exorcised it. sort of. i think.) i mostly refreshed twitter a lot and looked at tumblr and was amazed

There are a TON of fics where Bucky cuts his hair. It's a trope now.

And I can't even talk about Hannibal atm. I mean, I knew that scene was coming and I was still all ... ... ...

so other people feel the same way i do about the hair! this is good to know. i just want to read about him going to the barber and getting it chopped off so he can look presentable and more bucky-ish, and less brainwashed-assassin-ish.

i knew something was going to happen to mason, but i had no idea it would involve him mutilating himself and feeding his face to the dogs. (i saw part of hannibal on tv but i couldn't remember what happened to him in the movie, just that it was disfiguring.) this fucking show!

but i hate the hair! altho i admit that's a really nice gif of it. and it looks much better in motion than it does in most of the screencaps and stills.

ok, so i do agree that Sebastian Stan does not look great w/ long hair ... but the Winter Soldier does. I will be the only mourner when the shaggyness and scruff goes.

Where the cutting of the hair is a focal point? Not really. I mean, normally Bucky cutting his hair is just a scene in the larger story or at the end, signalling that he's ready to be Bucky again and leave The Winter Soldier behind. But, honestly, it's in so many fics now that you shouldn't have any problems with finding them on your own.
