30 days of babble, dec 31 - resolutions. and being human. which confused the hell out of me.
last night i may or may not have had chinese for dinner, which makes five times in a week and a half. which must be some kind of record. also, yum. and i watched being human (not to be confused with almost human) (this is the one with the vampires and the werewolves and the ghosts and the shocking lack of karl urban) and am SO CONFUSED because i just caught the last few episodes of the last season. also it's set in boston and you all fail for not telling me. i mean, i could've been yelling BOSTON DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THAT at the tv for three seasons already! heh.
(that's a joke, really. the tv episodes i've seen that have been set in boston usually look just enough off that at some point i have to yell at the screen. criminal minds, i am looking at you. leverage was actually ok, tho, and rizzoli & isles mostly threw me with how big and pretty rizzoli's apartment was. the being human that i saw was a lot of inside shots and flashbacks. the house is shockingly large and gorgeous for just two nurses and a part-time mortician to afford, but they got the bus stop signs right! which was oddly enough my first clue.)
anyway, i kind of liked it altho wow, did i have no idea what was going on. if anyone has seen it, can you tell me what's going on?
i have one last topic for the month of babble - which i have to say, i kind of enjoyed! - and it's resolutions, for deirdre_c. and i haven't actually given them any thought. there's the usual eat better, exercise more, try to be a better friend/sister/daughter, but otherwise, i don't know. squee more, bitch less? i'll be the bumpersticker - wag more, bark less. :D and dance like a flamingo listening to michael jackson.

i have one last fic i want to write and post - a ficlet for insmallpackages - but right now i need to leave the house so i can buy a nice potted plant for my cousin's open house tomorrow. it's a housewarming plant. :D and the sun is out! and i should enjoy the last sunny day of 2013.
