i'm excited about my nanonovel and too tired to write it
i apparently forgot hyndara71's birthday! i hope it was good and that you had cake! or similar celebratory baked good. :D (also here's hoping grimm starts showing episodes you can love again....)

tonight at writing group one of the women asked me excitedly how the pirate story was going, but i didn't really have time to tell her "i'm going to raise a pirate navy!" because it was kind of in the middle of discussion. but, you know, pirate navy! which i have no idea how to write, and there's a sex scene in the way, but i'm still all excited about the idea. i mean, come on, lady pirate leading several thousand bloodthirsty and gold-hungry fellow pirates? what's not to love?
of course i'm so freaking tired i'm probably going to go to bed without having written any more of it....
every year we do a writing project over december using some kind of group prompt, so we were talking about it tonight and i TOTALLY FORGOT what i wrote for last year's. >.< i do remember kinda liking it, tho. this year our stories have to take place during new year's eve/new year's day, and we have to include at least one of i think seven themes/concepts/whathaveyou, one of which is "murder" which will probably always remind me of this. just think "MURDER" and walk. :D
