there's a lot more haven commentary than i was planning on
i had all this downtime at work and did i use it for anything productive? (ie, nano.) i did not. >.< i played a lot of candy crush instead. but i won't be behind until i go to bed, so i'm not going to worry yet.

not to ask the stupid question, but why did the dad herd his family upstairs and try to load his gun BEFORE calling 911?
is it wrong that i think nick is hotter with the cut across the bridge of his nose? because i totally do.

i'm guessing decompression guy who comes from the never-troubled family is the one with the trouble. what's with all his anvilicious references to wade, tho?
i don't believe for one second that duke is really going to leave haven. i have a hard time believing that in his heart of hearts he really wants to.
why on earth is jennifer being followed by a horseshoe crab? and couldn't the show make a better effect? it looks plastic.
i was totally not expecting duke to haul off and hit nathan. altho i'm not entirely sure duke was expecting to either.... i'm not quite sure where duke's anger is coming from, because it seems kind of sudden. i guess i could buy that it's been building a while - altho duke hasn't been out of the barn for that long, so his anger at nathan and audrey is kind of sudden - his transformation from hardened criminal to helpful sort-of criminal has been going on all series, and it's no

and after all his bitching and moaning and complaining and "i hate this place, i'm going to leave", what does he do, but bring deep-sea diving suits to help aiden, and then basically drag nathan back to safety when nathan's line ruptures. because he knows he's a good guy, and he loves nathan. (and yes, i'm going to be an obnoxious duke/nathan shipper and suggest that when duke said he liked it better when nathan hated him, he at least partly meant that it was easier to deal with his own feelings when he could imagine they weren't returned.)
so last week duke made jennifer promise to keep a secret, and now... the secret's out. that didn't take long "did you kill wade?" "i didn't have a choice." and nathan doesn't give him grief.
i realize there are probably people who like jennifer. i'm not really one of them. i do like that she kind of has a reason to be in haven that isn't just to moon after duke and get pissy when he doesn't realize she wants him, but there's something about her that rubs me totally the wrong way and i'm too much of an ot3 shipper to really appreciate duke in a relationship with anyone who isn't audrey and nathan.
