white collar is back and i am watching it RIGHT NOW and all i have to say is that matt bomer is still really really ridiculously good-looking. and i can say that because it's not a spoiler. :D

and y'knoW, as silly as this show is going to get, sleepy hollow still wins for batshit. sleepy hollow will always win for batshit.

tuesday at work was super busy and then yesterday was DEAD. it was like hitting a wall - gogogogogoSTOP. today was slightly less dead but still not at all busy. i spent some quality time surfing the nanowrimo forums and trying to decide which absurd plot idea i should be researching. i met gnomi for lunch and now have one vote for bigbang idea #1, two votes for bigbang idea #2, one "you should totally do that!" for each, and one more person to pester. (she asked.) idea #1 has a cast, idea #2 has a plot, they both require actual historical research, and i think i like both of them pretty equally.

i should probably be embarrassed to admit that the idea i go with will in all probability be the idea i think is more likely to attract a good artist. (i am not however embarrassed to admit that.)

in truth i will be thinking about my nanonovel because i have to make up a bunch of place names. >.< it's been a long time since i had to make up place names.

i mentioned i was doing nano, right? i know i mentioned the lady pirates.... anyway, i'm doing nano. i'm a creature of habit and also, pirates.

vaguely terrifying pics from the top of the golden gate bridge - holy shitballs and not for the vertigo-susceptible.

twelve technological advancements from ww1 - not all of them are war-related, either! like, this is apparently where the modern sanitary pad comes from. and air traffic control and mobile x-ray machines. neat!

have a stunning photo of saturn.
