it's christmas. take 'em to church.
last night i finally got to see iron man 3 with my sister and one of her friends, and it had pretty much everything i wanted, pretty much everything i was expecting - and a couple plot things i wasn't - and i thoroughly enjoyed it. i even really liked the closing credits, and the post-credit scene made me and a bunch of other people still in the theater giggle.
also? previews for catching fire (yay!), world war z (probably not, but mireille enos!), thor 2 (OH GOD YES COME TO ME BABY), fast & furious 6 (yay!), and more i can't remember. there were A LOT of previews.

racing the mongol derby - it's a thousand kilometers following more or less genghis khan's pony express style mail route, on small, speedy, skittish mongolian ponies. ("skittish" as in "tend to spook at everything and throw their riders".)
