it's not good, but right now it doesn't have to be, and mostly it's DONE

my bigbang draft is FINALLY FINISHED OH MY GOD. it is the firstiest draft that ever firsted, and i think some scenes are too long and i know some scenes are too short, but all the bones are there and mostly IT'S DONE AND I CAN SEND IT IN. well, i can send it in once i decide whether or not i like the title and the summary.... i hate writing summaries for artist claims. haaaaate. i hate that they have to actually be summaries, and can't just be "so my story is about this and this, and this is who's in it, and these are some really cool visuals that i hope someone wants to illustrate". if i could draw, this wouldn't be a problem - i'd just sign up as an artist and so wouldn't have to worry about writing anything. or i'd end up wanting to illustrate my own fic.... which you can't really do.

also, i'm kind of embarrassed to send the draft as-currently-is to whoever claims me for art. there are going to be a ton of disclaimers and apologies in that email, let me tell you.

but anyway. the draft is done. yay. if the mods and gods of bigbang love me, i'll get a late posting date so i have a long time to do the research i should've done already edit.

last night i may or may not have written about 500 words of next year's bang, plus some notes so i don't forget some of my ideas, plus some, er, wikipedia-ing for inspirational pictures and a quickie google for a quote, because i have an epigram except it's in french. >.< and my french isn't that good. so.

today the weather is gorgeous and sunny and i have to get my comics and i need to take a walk and the vikings season finale is tonight and i want to share these pulpy paperback covers for classic novels before i go, because they're pretty neat.
