amc is running a gone with the wind marathon and i've been watching it instead of doing anything remotely productive. i did manage to do half my laundry before i ran out of detergent, at least.... and now i need to go to the store to pick up all of four things. including, er, laundry detergent. *girds loins* wish me luck.
but man, i love this movie. i remember half of it all wrong, tho, which is embarrassing considering the number of times i must've seen it. also, clark gable is smokin'. oh mommy.
the very best of strange soviet architecture - lots of concrete and arches and design weirdness.
chand baori stepwell - basically a giant hole in the ground in india, with a water hole at the bottom, and the walls composed entirely of steps. super cool.
